When vacationing for a week or so here at Stella Maris Resort, planning a Sandy Cay, Exuma boat excursion is a must!

This is an “Eco Tour” at its best: easy, safe, traveling only about 35 minutes each way, and sharing quality time there with the Bahamian Iguanas, the residential Seahawk Family, and the general crab and sea life.

Our Eco Tour is perfect for all ages: kids, adults, the young and the not so young.

These two “sister cays” are perfect for exploring or simply relaxing on the beach and the surrounding shallow waters are great for swimming and snorkeling… don’t be surprised to see turtles swim by, or a sting ray or eagle ray taking a look at you. And don’t forget to follow the footsteps of the pirates…yes…who can forget that “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” was partially filmed here! You can also continue your “Eco Tour” to the very nearby Hog Cay, Little Exuma, and many more…

What to bring? Well, the usual: swimsuit, sunscreen, snorkel equipment, food and drink for yourselves (can all be arranged by us), and food for the critters (Iguanas love watermelon, bananas, etc.). And don’t forget your camera!
