Getting Here

Stella Maris Resort Club is located on Long Island in the Southern Bahama Out Islands. 150 miles southeast of Nassau. 300 miles southeast of Ft. Lauderdale. The Queen's Highway runs some 70 miles from Seymours in the north to Gordons in the south. Stella Maris Resort is located on the northern end of Long Island - just ½ mile from the Stella Maris Airport (SML). Taxis are available for passengers arriving at SML in route to Stella Maris Resort Club. Fare is approximately $5 per person.

The Deadman's Cay Airport (LGI) is approximately 30 miles south of Stella Maris. Taxis are available for passengers arriving at LGI in route to Stella Maris Resort Club. Fare is approximately $100

Stella Maris Resort Air Service provides flights to Stella Maris, Long Island, Bahamas from Nassau, Great Exuma, on a per seat or charter basis; and from other Bahamas islands on a charter basis. Flights are easily confirmed when making reservations at our Resort Club.

Groups

Small groups are always welcome, whether for a family gathering, fishing or diving or business meeting. Organizers should please attempt to provide all pertinent facts such as:

• Trip dates
• Estimated number of participants
• Type of services and activities to be included (accommodations, meals, service charges/government tax, our flight service, ground transfers arrival/departure, specials such as cocktail party/island tour, and more)
• Whether participants are to individually select their preferred type of accommodation and be individually invoiced accordingly subject to special group's conditions
• Or - whether accommodations are being assigned by the resort at its discretion, at an across-the-board (run of the house) standard price
• Will the participants settle their own invoice - or will the organizer (except for participants' personal extras)
• Any special requirements (family or friend accommodation requests, group meeting intentions, handicapped access, special activity preferences, etc.) The resort will offer, in response, either a fixed package rate, or, individual item pricing. In either case, pricing will be discounted or specially priced. Please contact Elizabeth Vance in our Florida Reservation office to assist with any special needs.

Reservations

Please be aware that as a small hotel, with limited inventory, OTA’s may show us as unavailable when we do have space. With the exception of the historically busy periods of Christmas, New Year and the Easter holidays, space is usually available. Stella Maris Resort may be booked from our Sabre Hospitality Solutions booking engine, Book Online on the navigation bar.  Our Florida office can assist you with any questions, accommodation and activity descriptions, availability and rates. Our Office hours are Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Major US holidays are observed 954-359-8236.
