Stella Maris International Airport (MYLS) is an Airport of Entry with Bahamas Customs and Immigration, has a 4000' paved runway, and is a Fixed Base Operation (FBO) managed by Hawkline with services including Av-Gas and Jet-A. Our Airport of Entry has a phone that is pre-programmed with speed dial numbers most often needed by private pilots; those numbers typically include Weather, Flight Service, East Coast US Customs Facilities, and long distance calling card access for AT&T, MCI, and Sprint. The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and Aviation has information available to help you plan your flight to our Bahamas resort. eAPIS Requirement:

The Department Of Homeland Security (DHS) new rule requiring all pilots of Private Aircraft to electronically submit a passenger/crew manifest for all flight departing and entering the U.S. to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), is effective as of Monday, May 18, 2009. This means, all private aircraft leaving The Bahamas MUST electronically submit a passenger/crew manifest to US Customs BEFORE they can enter the US. Internet access is readily available at Stella Maris and we are happy to assist our pilot guests. We have included several helpful links for understanding and accessing eAPIS (see right sidebar).
