The Perfect Place for a Tropical Wedding

We will be more than happy to help you plan the tropical wedding of your dreams. Getting married at Stella Maris is easy. Just follow the steps outlined below:

• Fill out the "Application for a Marriage License" from the Commonwealth of the Bahamas (enclosed in our wedding packet).

• Send the application along with certified copies of the required documents to us: original or notarized copy of birth certificates; parental consent if either party is under 18; sworn affidavits if single; and a certified copy of divorce or death certificate of deceased spouse if either party has been married previously.

• No blood test is necessary.

Included in Your Wedding Package

Your Stella Maris wedding package includes the Marriage License Fee, and our assistance in submitting your application.

The commissioner or one of our local ministers may perform the ceremony. The fee for the commissioner or a donation for the church is included in your package. We will coordinate your preferences with the local official.

We will prepare a bouquet and boutonniere of local flowers; provide informal decorations, snacks for 8, and 2 bottles of Champagne for your celebration.

Also included the wedding dinner and cake for the bride and groom.

The Wedding Packet price is $700.00 and will be forwarded to you when we receive your payment.

Other Services

• Your Wedding Packet will include information on additional services available.

• Wedding party dinners will be quoted on request.

• Special wedding party decorations will be quoted on request.

• One of our staff, with excellent ability, is available to photograph your wedding.

• Local guitar player or three man band are available to play at the ceremony or wedding party.

Complete Your Plans by Adding Our Honeymoon Package

This all inclusive package includes a free upgrade to a 1-bedroom cottage for 5 respectively 7 nights, one day of scuba diving (or resort course if you cannot dive yet), a day of bonefishing, a full day boat excursion, use of a rental car for 1 day, a 1 hour massage each, round trip flights Nassau - Stella Maris, taxi round trip Stella Maris Airport to hotel, 3 meals per day, 3 drinks per day excluding bottled wine/ champagne, house wine with dinner, champagne the first night, free activity schedule and all taxes, service charges and current energy surcharges.
